FOUNDERS:
Class of 2000 - Becky, Sarah, and Julie (later joined by Jennifer)
Under the guidance of Mr. Mullane, they began in the Spring of 1999 developing a Harding webpage. They struggled through the hardware, software, and server issues. They logged a great many hours, before school, after school, and on weekends. Some people even began to think they worked here!
We owe them a great deal of thanks for taking the initiative to get this site off the ground (and into cyberspace). Their fine work gave us a truly excellent framework to build upon.
Where are they now? Last we heard Becky is in California working on her PHD in psychology. Jennifer is at Duquesne University majoring in Museum Administration. Julie graduated from Ashland University and is now teaching near Cincinnati, Ohio, and Sarah is in the nuclear engineering program with the United States Navy.
Class of 2002 -- Ellen, Natalie, Katey, Penny
Under the guidance of Ms. Bennett, they began in the Fall of 2000 trying to overcome troubles with hardware and software changes. In the Fall of 2001, they emerged victorious and began updating the site and adding new pages. Their work is part of the IB Computers class (Info Tech for a Global Society).
Where are they now? Ellen is attending YSU majoring in elementary education, Natalie is attending John Carroll University majoring in Theatre (lighting, design, management), Katey is attending Ohio University, Penny is attending Ohio State.
Class of 2003 -- Uriah
Uriah picked up the web page and made some in roads into changing and renovating things.
Where is he now? Uriah is currently at the University of Southern Florida where he received 30 hours of advanced credit for his IB work.
Class of 2004 -- Mark, Katie, Chad, Todd, Anthony, Trisha
Class of 2005 -- Dillon (later joined by Matt)
The page is fairly well established, averaging over 3000 hits per month during the 2002-2003 school year, we are working on updating pages and adding pages for activities/sports that were missing.
In the Spring of 2005, Matt, with some assistance from Dillon, gave a much needed facelift to the site. With a new design, Matt worked to make the site more uniformed and user friendly by creating a site wide navigational system. The design helped solved many of the growing pains the old site was experiencing.
Their work is part of the IB Computers class (Info Tech for a Global Society), these students are supervising this process and managing the site. The actual updating of the pages is being done by the students in Ms. B's yearbook class as an extension of the yearbook. This seems to be a natural relationship, both the yearbook and the web site are about recording, informing and chronicling life here at WGH.
The students working on the web site welcome constructive criticism. Please keep in mind that our activities are governed by the policies & guidelines of Warren City Schools. Our purpose is to report & support, not offer opinions or active dialogue. Please email your suggestions to our webmasters.
